Came across this early twentieth century American Tin Pan Alley jam while making a playlist for the Lowell, Indiana Historical Society’s Labor Day Parade. Don’t let the changing of the seasons fool, steel your mind in the good old summertime.
I’m not sure I’ll ever understand why some musicians feel the need to use ALL CAPS. I have some theories, I suppose. For example, maybe their harddrives are so goddamn cluttered and disorganized that they need to capitalize the really important shit. And then I guess they never fix it, GODDAMMIT.
I’m not sure if I’m finally warming up to Tennis after all these years or if it’s just Vacationer’s magic touch, but I cannot stop hitting replay on this one. Regardless, it’s another beautiful summertime gem worthy of a listen.
FYI: This will be the last of the remix compilations, forever. There simply are not enough decent remixes being made nowadays to allow for a solid monthly compilation. We’re tired of going through mounds of trash month after month just to discover a few good remixes. We’ll still be putting compilations out there though, so don’t worry. They’ll just be all inclusive.
Oh, and we won’t be posting just music anymore. I hope you like art.
